Jack the Ripper The Definitive Story was broadcast over two parts in January 2011 – and it was without a doubt the best Ripper documentary I’ve ever seen. It was accurate to the facts, largely unbiased, featured impressive recreations of the murder scenes and interviews with some of the most knowledgable people in the field (and not just the most widely published).
It was also made by several friends of mine, and featured many other friends. So I might seem a bit biased (not to mention a shameless name dropper as I’ve had a pint with the guy playing Jack the Ripper – who also directed it), but take my word for it, it was that good.
